Dr. Tong received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Carolina. Before joining USC, she has been working in Visualization and Computer Vision Lab of GE Global Research Center since January 2008.
